Simply put, this was an overall wonderful gig starring Chris Kent(Headline), Keith Beamish from Cork, Gerry O'Brien from West Waterford and Greg Marks from Dublin. The night was enjoyably MC's by one of the Awesome Foursome and local lad Billy Aherne. Another full house in ECC.

The last gig(July 31st) was again very successful where all proceeds went to the local Charity 'Lets get together(Suicide)foundation'. A full house with a little more standing room available on this occasion to leave some space for laughter. And giggles we did have from the moment Ben Buckley(MC on the night)hit the stage with his natural improv style keeping the audience on their toes. He was followed by Dean Surry who's primary theme was 'back to the 80's' in true fashion, with or without the microphone our brilliant venue allowed Dean to do his stuff remarkably. After the break we welcomed Cork's City Limits regular Jason Coughlan who as usual kept the audience hanging over the edge with his storytelling - Thanks Lads(we'll have ye back again).

The greatest comedy Gig ever seen in Midleton Folk club to date, a full house and even had to turn away people from the door, a nice problem to have I suppose. The Headline act was local Lad Mr Billy Aherne who was hillarious on the night - A true performer. Looking forward to Mr Jason Coughlan on July 31st who is the Cork City Limits regular comedian.
